(December 11, 2025) — A 55-year-old Modesto man was fatally injured in a head-on collision on Albers Road near Dusty Lane, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) confirmed. The victim's name has not been released.
The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. when a 2016 Chrysler sedan, driven by 23-year-old Alberto Ochoaaguilar of Winton, crossed into the northbound lane and struck a Nissan pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Ochoaaguilar was seriously injured and transported to Oak Valley Hospital. The CHP is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
