A pedestrian was fatally struck in a hit-and-run Friday morning in Harker Heights, authorities said.
Albert Abrams, 58, was hit at approximately 6:30 a.m. on South Amy Lane. He was taken to Darnell Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police said the involved vehicle may have been a green Ford pickup with damage to the front-left headlight.
