Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Sunday morning along the 14 Freeway in Agua Dulce.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 10:15 a.m. at the Escondido Canyon Road off-ramp. Alberto Campa Macias, 39, was identified as the motorcyclist involved in the crash.
Macias was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. A female passenger who was also on the motorcycle was taken to Henry Mayo Hospital with injuries, though her current condition has not been disclosed.
Investigators said the cause of the crash is still being determined, and it remains unclear whether impairment contributed to the incident.
