A fatal collision north of Woodland claimed the life of Alejandro Naranjo Ibarra, 20, on Sunday night, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Investigators said Ibarra was a passenger in an Acura traveling south on County Road 102 when the vehicle drifted into the oncoming lane and struck a Hyundai just south of County Road 16. The crash occurred around 10:20 p.m. Ibarra, of Woodland and an employee at El Patio, died as a result of his injuries.
Three others were hospitalized with major injuries. CHP said the case remains under investigation and noted a separate fatal crash on County Road 102 occurred in late October.
