Greenfield, CA — Alexis Rios, 22, was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run after a crash injured an elementary school student on Monday, December 8, 2025. The incident occurred near the 400 block of Hutchinson Drive as the student was walking to school.
Police reported that Rios's vehicle struck the student and another child. One student sustained visible injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Rios and his passengers reportedly stopped briefly before leaving the scene without contacting 911. Police identified and apprehended Rios later that day.
