Four people, including three children, were killed Monday in a head-on crash on State Highway 83 south of Franktown, the Colorado State Patrol reported.
The victims were Alvin Corado, 35, an Army reservist, and three children: Jase Green, Makenlee Corado, and Toretto Corado. Authorities said a stolen Toyota hatchback lost control, entered oncoming traffic, and collided with their Ford sedan.
The driver of the stolen vehicle, 31, also died at the scene. Officials said Corado was traveling to visit his girlfriend in the hospital, whose child and his own children were passengers at the time. The investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing.
