Authorities are investigating a deadly single-vehicle accident that claimed the lives of two people Monday night in Prairie.
According to officials, Alyson Parker and Evan Bailey, both of West Point, were killed when their Honda Accord exited Evans Road and collided with a tree. The crash occurred shortly before 6:50 p.m., west of U.S. 45 Alternate.
Emergency responders pronounced both occupants deceased at the scene. The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to examine the cause of the wreck.
