Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of Angel Padilla Lopez early Wednesday in South Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident took place around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Florence Avenue and Main Street. Lopez, 20, was operating a motorcycle at the time of the collision.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. Officials noted that the motorcycle was located a considerable distance from the victim, indicating a severe impact.
