Arturo Frias Moreno, 57, was killed Wednesday afternoon in a pedestrian accident in central El Paso.
The incident occurred near the 300 block of West Rio Grande Avenue around 5 p.m., when a westbound Audi Q7, driven by a 31-year-old man, struck Moreno. Emergency personnel transported him to a local hospital, but he later died from his injuries. Authorities are investigating the crash.
