Authorities are searching for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred early Feb. 25 on U.S. 19.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Ashlee Partain, 21, was hit near the intersection of Northeast 446th Street shortly before 1 a.m. The motorist did not stop to render aid and left the scene.
Troopers are working with the Dixie County Sheriff’s Office to gather evidence and follow up on several tips received from the public.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
