Authorities are investigating a fatal vehicle-versus-motorcycle collision that occurred Saturday evening in Columbus.
According to the Columbus Police Department, the crash happened around 8 p.m. near River Road and Double Churches Road. Officials said a motorcycle driven by Brantley Eli Satterfield collided with a truck.
Satterfield, 31, was rushed to Piedmont Columbus Regional - Midtown, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the Muscogee County Coroner’s Office.
No further information about the incident was immediately available as the investigation continues.
