Authorities are investigating a deadly single-vehicle wreck that claimed four lives early Saturday in Long Beach, including Brian Delgado.
Officials said the crash happened at approximately 1:20 a.m. along southbound Lakewood Boulevard near the tunnel beneath Long Beach Airport. A 2008 Honda Accord carrying four people veered off the roadway and slammed into a concrete median before catching fire.
Three individuals were trapped inside the vehicle as it burned, while another victim was discovered outside the car. All four were pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner later confirmed that 28-year-old Brian Delgado was among those killed.
Police indicated that speed and impairment may have played a role in the fatal collision.
