South Carolina Highway Patrol officials are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday night on Blue Ridge Avenue in Belton.
According to SCHP, a Chevrolet SUV driven by Brittany Diane Dooley, 33, veered off the roadway near Herman Brooks Road and collided with a tree at approximately 7 p.m. A passenger in the vehicle sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. Dooley died at the scene. No further details have been released as the investigation continues.
