A suspected DUI crash in Moss Landing claimed the life of 22-year-old Bryan Ortiz early Saturday, authorities said.
According to investigators, a BMW entered opposing lanes on Highway 1 and struck Ortiz’s Ford SUV head-on. The suspects fled on foot but were later apprehended near a pond.
The crash remains under investigation.
