Camila Leon, 8, died after being seriously injured in a fiery two-vehicle collision Saturday evening in Perris, authorities said.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Coroner identified Leon as the victim of the fatal crash.
The collision happened around 5:40 p.m. near East Rider Street and Ramona Expressway. Authorities had not immediately determined how the vehicles collided.
Riverside County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the scene and discovered one vehicle engulfed in fire.
At least six people were transported to a hospital for treatment after the collision. Leon later succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities said the crash remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.
