The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred Monday on the Pepper Avenue onramp to eastbound Interstate 10.
Authorities identified the victim as Caretta Williams, 33, of Colton. CHP officials said Williams died at the scene, and the circumstances surrounding the crash have not yet been released.
