Christian Lira, 33, lost his life in a hit-and-run crash while riding an electric scooter in Los Angeles.
According to investigators, the incident occurred near the intersection of Hoover Street and 75th Street during the evening hours. The driver involved fled without stopping to render aid.
Lira died at the scene, and police continue efforts to locate the suspect responsible.
