Metro Nashville police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of 68-year-old Clifford Coleman Monday evening.
According to officials, a Dodge Dakota struck Coleman on Ewing Drive near Brick Church Pike just after 6 p.m. before leaving the scene.
Emergency responders transported Coleman to Skyline Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators later arrested a 66-year-old woman believed to be the driver of the vehicle. She has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failing to file a report, with further charges pending.
The case remains under active investigation.
