A Pioneertown man was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle while walking in Ontario, according to police.
The victim was identified as Dan Erpelding, 61. Police said the crash occurred at approximately 7:42 a.m. on Etiwanda Avenue at East Airport Drive.
Erpelding was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
