A fatal hit-and-run crash in San Francisco’s South of Market area claimed the life of Dannielle Spillman on Monday, authorities said.
Police reported that Spillman was struck by a vehicle at Mission Street and South Van Ness Boulevard around 3:23 p.m. The driver fled the scene following the collision.
Officers later located the suspect through investigative tools and arrested him. Spillman died at the scene from her injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
