Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that claimed the life of a Long Beach man one day after the incident.
According to officials, Daren Duane Roland, 65, was struck by a Toyota Camry while crossing near Anaheim Street and Redondo Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Roland sustained critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he died the following day.
Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
