Authorities are investigating a deadly four-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 30-year-old man and left two others in critical condition Sunday morning in Hawthorne.
According to police, the collision occurred shortly before 11:50 a.m. near the intersection of Imperial Highway and Inglewood Avenue and involved at least four vehicles.
Dashawn Coleman of Las Vegas was identified as the victim who died following the crash, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Officials said multiple other victims were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, with two remaining in extremely critical condition.
The cause of the collision has not yet been determined, and investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
