The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the pedestrian killed in a Wednesday afternoon collision on Highway 160 as 36-year-old David Paul Bledsoe.

The California Highway Patrol stated the incident occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Royal Oaks Drive and the Tribute Way on-ramp. Bledsoe was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released further details and are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
