One person was killed early Sunday morning following a two-vehicle crash on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Boyle Heights, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the deceased as Eduardo Roldan, 45, who was riding in one of the sedans involved in the collision. The crash happened at approximately 4:30 a.m. near the Cesar Chavez Avenue on-ramp. Roldan died at the scene as a result of blunt force injuries.
CHP said further information was not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
