The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision that killed a bicyclist Wednesday night in South Los Angeles.
Efrain Rivas Martinez, 37, was riding in the 700 block of East Vernon Avenue around 7:25 p.m. when he was struck. The driver reportedly fled the scene on a motorcycle. Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities are seeking information from witnesses to aid in the investigation.
