The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a young man Thursday in Lancaster.
CHP said the crash happened around 6:53 a.m. in the area of 170th Street East and Avenue P. The victim was identified as 21-year-old Emmanuel Juarez. After the vehicles collided, one reportedly veered into a nearby light pole. Juarez was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released additional details as the investigation continues.
