The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal multi-vehicle crash that occurred early Saturday on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Glendale.
According to CHP, officers arrived at the scene near Lowell Avenue around 1:21 a.m. and discovered several vehicles involved in the crash, including a Nissan Pathfinder that had overturned.
Erika De La Riva, 43, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities said at least one additional person suffered injuries, though their identity was not immediately released.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
