A wrong-way collision Tuesday evening left one man dead and another seriously injured near Agua Dulce, California, officials reported.
According to CHP, Everett Turner, 54, of Canyon Country, was operating an Acura on the wrong side of the road when it collided with a Toyota RAV4 at the intersection of Anthony Road and Sierra Highway around 6:20 p.m. Turner was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Toyota driver was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita for treatment of major injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
