Fred Fuyao Liu, 53, died Sunday night after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in Rancho Santa Fe, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. at Del Dios Road and Luna de Miel, where Liu’s sedan collided with an SUV.
Emergency responders pronounced Liu deceased at the scene. No additional information regarding contributing factors has been disclosed.
The incident remains under investigation.
