Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that claimed the life of a young man Monday night in Ontario.
The California Highway Patrol said Gustavo Montes, 21, of Pomona, was struck by a vehicle near the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at Fourth Street shortly before midnight.
Emergency responders pronounced Montes deceased at the scene. Officials have not released further information as the investigation continues.
