Authorities are reviewing the circumstances of a fatal wreck that occurred Sunday morning on Riverview Drive within the Gadsden city limits.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a pickup truck left the roadway, broke through a fence, and entered a pond at approximately 5:53 a.m. A 65-year-old Elkmont woman died at the scene, while Hali B. Bridges and Chance B. Bridges were taken to Gadsden Regional Medical Center with injuries.
The ALEA Highway Patrol Division is leading the investigation into the crash.
