A hit-and-run crash in Long Beach claimed the life of Heaven Hooper early Sunday, officials said.
Investigators reported that Hooper was struck by a pickup truck in the area of Ninth Street and Fashion Avenue.
The driver left the scene. Hooper later succumbed to her injuries at a hospital. Authorities have not released additional details.
