Henry Raygoza, 61, of Bakersfield Died Struck by Train Near Edison Hwy

A Bakersfield man died Friday afternoon after being struck by a train in Kern County, the Kern County Coroner's Office confirmed.

The victim, 61-year-old Henry Raygoza, was hit by the train shortly after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Edison Highway and Quantico Avenue.

Raygoza was rushed to Kern Medical for treatment but died from his injuries.

Authorities have not released additional details, and the investigation into the crash remains active.
