
Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured three people Monday evening in Bates County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound on County Road Northwest 2 swerved and collided with an oncoming Ford F-150 at approximately 7:26 p.m. The collision caused the Chevrolet to strike a guardrail before leaving the roadway.
The Ford’s driver, a 37-year-old woman from Butler, and her 38-year-old male passenger were seriously injured. The 52-year-old Chevrolet driver was treated for minor injuries. All injured parties were transported to area hospitals.
