Authorities continue investigating a fatal red-light crash that killed an 88-year-old Royal Palm Beach woman Thursday afternoon.

Iris Levin was riding as a passenger in a Toyota Tundra traveling east on Pioneer Road when a Chevrolet Malibu ran a red light and struck the Tundra around 12:24 p.m., according to investigators. The crash caused the vehicles to rotate and also involved a Cadillac.

Levin was taken to Wellington Regional Medical Center, where she later died on February 19. Officials said the investigation into the incident at Pioneer Road and State Road 7 is ongoing.
