Authorities are investigating a devastating single-vehicle accident that killed four individuals early Saturday in Long Beach, including Isabel Acevedo.

According to officials, the crash happened at approximately 1:20 a.m. near the tunnel beneath Long Beach Airport along southbound Lakewood Boulevard. A 2008 Honda Accord carrying four people veered off the roadway and collided with a concrete median before catching fire.

Three victims were trapped inside the vehicle as it became engulfed in flames. Another victim was discovered outside the car. All four were pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner identified one of the deceased as 22-year-old Isabel Acevedo.

Investigators believe speed and possible impairment were factors in the tragic incident.
