Isabell Hill, a Sultana High School student, died Friday after the Acura she was riding in was struck by a Chevrolet Camaro and a Dodge in Victorville.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 8:34 p.m. on Ridgecrest Road at Elmwood Drive.

Hill was traveling as a passenger in an Acura driven by a classmate when the vehicle was hit by the two other vehicles.

The CHP said the Camaro and Dodge were both speeding. The collision was severe enough to split the Acura in half.

Hill and the Acura driver died in the crash.

The Dodge driver was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter, while the other driver fled and has not been located.
