Authorities in Bibb County are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that claimed the life of Isaiah Scott Thursday night in west Macon.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. along the 5000 block of Log Cabin Drive near Chambers Road. Investigators said Scott was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a gray Chevrolet Silverado.
Scott suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
Officials have not announced whether any charges will be filed as investigators continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the collision.
