A teen suffered serious injuries in an ATV accident in Miami on Thursday, police said.
Authorities said 14-year-old Jamari Charles collided with a car near Southwest 220th Street and 118th Avenue during New Year’s celebrations. He was taken to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where doctors report he has a brain bleed and is sedated.
The crash is under investigation by Miami police. Community members have created a GoFundMe to support Charles and his family with medical bills.
