Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash in Barstow that claimed the life of a local resident Saturday night.
According to the Barstow Police Department, James Cheesebrew was crossing East Main Street when he was struck by two vehicles traveling eastbound.
The crash occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m., and Cheesebrew died at the scene from his injuries. Both drivers involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The department’s Detective Division is handling the ongoing investigation.
