A 37-year-old woman died Friday night after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Lancaster, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.
Jasmine Richards was struck at the intersection of Avenue L and Seventh Street E at around 11:14 p.m. Firefighters and paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
A second person involved in the crash was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
