Indio police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a 62-year-old man Sunday afternoon.
The collision occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. at Calhoun Street and Avenue 42 and involved a motorcycle and a Honda sedan operated by a 20-year-old driver, authorities said.
Jerry Bradley of Indio was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Officials said the cause of the crash had not been determined as of Sunday evening.
