Jerry Richards, 86, of Oceanside, died after suffering injuries in an e-bike collision at a Carlsbad intersection, according to the Carlsbad Police Department.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:49 a.m. at Carlsbad Village Drive and Glasgow Drive.
Richards was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla following the crash. He died at the hospital later that afternoon.
Authorities reported that Richards sustained multiple blunt force injuries. The cause of death was listed as multiple blunt force injuries.
The Carlsbad Police Department is investigating the fatal e-bike collision.
