Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that claimed the life of an Apple Valley man Monday evening in Victorville.
Officials said Jimmy Jones, 60, was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Suburban around 6:40 p.m. on 7th Street near Circle Drive. Jones was taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, where he was pronounced deceased. No additional details were immediately released.
