A 78-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a pickup truck Monday morning in Irvine, police reported.
Jinshui Li was walking near the intersection of Yale Avenue and Meadowood Park when he was struck at approximately 10 a.m., according to authorities.
Emergency responders transported Li to a hospital following the pedestrian accident. He later died from his injuries.
Police have not released further information about the circumstances of the collision.
