Georgia State Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred Friday night in Woodbine and resulted in the death of a young girl.
Officials reported that Jordyn White, 9, was hit by an SUV while in the area of State Road 25 Spur and Georgia Avenue at approximately 7 p.m. She was taken to a local hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office released a statement offering condolences to White’s family and loved ones during what it described as a difficult time.
