Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian-train crash that claimed the life of Jose Calderon on Wednesday morning in Ontario.
Calderon, 44, was struck by a Union Pacific train near South Cucamonga Avenue around 8:48 a.m., according to officials. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Calderon was pronounced deceased.
No further information has been released as authorities continue to examine the circumstances leading up to the collision.
