Authorities have released the identity of a man killed in a two-vehicle crash on June 20 in Llano, the California Highway Patrol announced.
The victim, 62-year-old Jose Depaz, was identified on Saturday following the collision, which took place at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Pearblossom Highway near 165th Street East. The crash involved a Nissan Sentra and a second vehicle.
Depaz did not survive his injuries from the crash. The California Highway Patrol has not released further details about the second driver or vehicle involved, and the investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
