Authorities are investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash on I-10 that claimed the life of 65-year-old Jose Crespo Guevara of Bell.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 6:37 a.m. when a Lexus traveling eastbound struck a Toyota, causing it to overturn and submerge in water. Guevara, driving the Toyota, was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Lexus driver was arrested for suspected DUI.
