A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle Friday in Bell Gardens, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The victim, identified as Jose Hernandez Padilla, was struck at Eastern Avenue and Joboneria Road. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
Investigators have not yet released information about the driver involved. The case is still under review.
